Implementasi pendidikan karakter di madrasah atau sekolah "include" denganmata pelajaran lain perlu diimplementasikan dengan materi-materi pembelajaranyang relevan, baik evaluasi atupun metode pendekatan pembelajarannya. Selainpendidikan formal, pendidikan karakter dibangun secara terus menerus sepanjanghayat masih ada (long live education). Sebab, karakter sesungguhnya menjadibagian dari ruh kehidupan itu sendiri. Jadi, hidup tanpa karakter bagaikan hiduptanpa ruh. Implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah selama ini baru terbataspada tingkatan pengenalan norma atau nilai-nilai, belum sampai pada tingkataninternalisasi dan tindakan nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendidikan karakterdibangun oleh tiga pihak secara sinergis, yaitu pertama, orang tua, kedua satuanlembaga pendidikan dan ketiga, masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan hendaknya komprehenshif.References
